Description

Justification & Approval The 105th Airlift Wing intends to issue a sole-source procurement action with Blue Force Gear of Pooler GA for the procurement of the follow item: Air Force Sling Kit which consist of Black Sling, Black Vest Strap with ITW TAC Link and a Black Buttstock Pouch P/N: K-SP-0002-BK-BK-T The authority cited is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Requirement. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms who want to challenge the sole source must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firms ability to meet the requirement and objectives as described above. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered. All interested firms must respond by Thursday, 15 August 2013, 10:00AM EST. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
