- ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE IN WRITING AND EITHER MAILED, FAXED OR EMAILED (Preferred) TO THE CONTRACTING OFFICER, NO LATER THAN AUGUST 12, 2013 2:00 PM EST. CONTACT INFORMATION BELOW. This is a Market Survey for Installation of a Mark 1 Remote Control and Status Unit (RCSU) Palm Beach International Airport, West Palm Beach, FL. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals at this time. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. The FAA is seeking competent contractors interested in providing a RCSU to interface with the Runway 10L Mark1F Instruments Landing System (ILS) with the Runway28R ILS, via the mark 20 Remote Status and interlock Unit (RSIU) in the Tower Cab. The current Runway 10L ILS RCSU requires its own Remote Status Unit (RSU) in the Tower Cab and an Interlock Switch to select each runway. This procurement is considered to be a single-source as the vendor (New Bedford Panoramex Corporation) is the only known source that can design and produce a MK1F RCSU with interface to a MK20/20A RSIU for control and monitor. In order to make this determination the FAA requires the following information from interested vendors: 1. Capability Statement - This document should identify your company capability to design and produce a MK1F RCSU with interface to a MK20/20A RSIU for control and monitor. a. Technical Capabilities b. Key Personnel 2. Business Declaration Form (see attachment).
