The second cross-fold shall be accomplished by pick-up blade, and the third cross-fold shall be accomplished by knife-through pinch roll to assure that all selvage edges are folded inside. The single-lane cross-folder shall have the ability to bypass the cross-folding sequence or the second or third cross-folds separately. 4.In the two-lane mode the first cross-fold shall be accomplished by air jet-through pinch roll through two different openings. The second cross-fold shall be accomplished by knife-through pinch roll to assure that all selvage edges are folded inside. The 2-lane cross-folder shall have the ability to bypass the cross-folding sequence or the second cross-fold. 5.The folder/cross-folder shall be caster mounted with floor brakes for easy mobility. 6.The folder/cross-folder shall have 3 -wide, preshrunk, antistatic polyester-cotton-stainless steel ribbons on approach conveyor and 2 -wide rubber and preshrunk polyester-cotton ribbons on remainder of machine.
