Description
PROJECT LOCATION: U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Region 3, Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge, Mound City, Missouri ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. PROJECT CONSISTS OF: Supplying all labor, materials, and equipment to rehabilitate a 75' x 125' earthen lagoon septic system. The work includes but is not limited to disposal of existing fence, excavation and stockpiling of the earthen lagoon soil, removal of an estimated 650 cy of clay liner and sludge soil material to an approved disposal site, replacement of clay liner with new material, rebuilding and compaction of the earthen lagoon with stockpiled materials, and replacement of topsoil and final seeding of site. Miscellaneous work also includes removal of the soils around the pipe leading from Manhole #3 to the lagoon, and inspection and resealing of deficient connections and re-compacting soil around the pipe. Work also includes re-laying of the outlet pipe with new gravel base and installing a new concrete splash block and new fence. SOCIOECONOMIC PROGRAMS: This procurement is set-aside exclusively for small business concerns. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 237110, Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction, with a size standard of $33.5 million. The Solicitation Package includes the following: An itemized Bid Schedule, Scope of Work, Drawings, and Prevailing Wage Determination and Bid Bond Form.
