Description

The US Food and Drug Administration have a need for two (2) triple quadrupole linear ion trap (QTRAP) mass spectrometers with an HPLC (high pressure). This requirement will be accomplished using commercial item procedures in accordance with FAR Part 8 (FSS Schedule under GSA e-Buy). A Firm-Fixed Price Task Order is anticipated. Quotes will be due on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 09:00 a.m. Eastern Time. Contractors must clearly label, on their quote, items not on the GSA Schedule contract. Interested Contractors must go to GSA e-Buy at https://www.gsaadvantage.gov/advantage/login/eBuyLogin.do;jsessionid=F94D1739AD5954EEC174770A58576678.A4 to view and respond to the RFQ. The Government will award to the responsible quoter whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government on a lowest price technically acceptable basis. Open market items may be over $25,000.00. The following contract clauses are applicable to any open market items: FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items (Jul 2013) FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders (Aug 2013)
