- In accordance with Federal Aviation Administration Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.1.2.1 - this announcement is to conduct a Market Survey for the purpose of soliciting statements of interest and capabilities from interested vendors. This announcement is NOT A SCREENING INFORMATION REQUEST (SIR) or REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Further, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. FAA is seeking original equipment manufacturers to provide the material and services as outline in the draft statement of work. Re-sellers will be considered. This announcement is not intended to guarantee procurement of a product and shall not be seen as a commitment by the Government to enter into a contract. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will not pay for any information received or cost incurred in preparing the responses to this market survey or activities contained herein. Therefore, any costs associated with this submission are solely at the interested vendor's expense. Interested firms are required to submit the attached Business Declaration form and a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable. Any firm that believes they have the technical ability to manufacture/provide the original equipment is requested to submit their firm's capability, qualifications and experience for the requirements as outlined and the FAA will evaluate such information accordingly. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code has not yet been determined. To ensure full consideration by the FAA, responses to this RFI/Market Survey should be submitted No later than 10:00 A.M. local time on August 30, 2013, to the following address: Federal Aviation Administration Attn: Ms. Whitney Coleman-Clark, ACQ-320 800 Independence Avenue, S.W., Room 510W Washington, DC 20591 Submittals, including attachments, should be submitted electronically to the following email address: whitney.coleman-clark@faa.gov. Please submit as a MS Word file. If you cannot respond electronically, please send at least two (2) hard copies by the indicated deadline. All responses (one per company) are to be provided on company letterhead and limited to a total of 10 typewritten pages. No type font less than 11 point may be used. Email any questions concerning this RFI/Market Survey to whitney.coleman-clark@faa.gov.
