- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT SYNOPSIS: AFISRA/A7KR has a sole source requirement for the purchase of three JCS9521-LCASY Unigy II FR Cells (36) and two LCS95-23-LCASY Unigy II FR Cells (24). This is a Sole Source with Johnson Battery Company, Inc., IAW FAR 6.302-1. Johnson Battery Company, Inc is the only source capable of fulfilling the government's requirement as a sole. The batteries manufactured by Johnson Battery Company, Inc are unique and are part of our Antarctic hybrid power systems. No solicitation documents exist at this time. This item/service utilizes Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 3691, and North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 335911 with a business size of 500 employees. Interested firms may identify their capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis. AFIRSRA/A7KR has determined that Johnson Battery Company, Inc is the only source capable of providing this requirement. Phone calls will not be accepted.
