- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13. The Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground, Tennant Contracting Division, 6001 Combat Drive, Aberdeen, MD 21005 has a requirement to procure the following items: CLIN 0001 1 7900HT SEQUENCE DETECTION SYSTEM (279003311) AB Assurance 1 PM Parts, labor and travel for remedial repair. 2. No charge for planned maintenance visits. The number of planned maintenance visits L T estimates will be performed during the plan period is indicated in LT's quotation (A). 3. Guaranteed priority response time of 2 business days after receipt of a service call for instruments located in L T' s Service Zones 1 and Zone 2. If L T fails to arrive at the instrument location within Zone 1 or Zone 2 within 2 business days for reasons other than customer's failure to provide access to L T or causes beyond the reasonable control of L T, L T will provide customer a service plan renewal credit in an amount equivalent to one day's pro-rated charge for each day L T' s response is late. (See footnote (B) for call time cut off, other details, and terms and conditions). 4. Target response time of 3 business days for remedial repairs outside of Zones 1 and 2. LT will use reasonable efforts to. Respond within 3 business days from receipt of a service call. 5. Priority telephone and email access to instrument technical support. 6. Telephone and email access to application technical support. 7. Remote Monitoring and Ox Service, which provides for notification to customer of instrument failures or errors that is reported by AB' s Remote Monitoring software. The intended delivery date for the item(s) is approximately two months after receipt of order. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) sole source order/contract to High Pressure Instrumentation (HPI). This firm is the sole developer/manufacturer /distributor of the product. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811219 and the Business Size Standard is 19,000,000.00. All responses received within ten (5) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 11:00 AM Eastern Time, Friday, August 16, 2013. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
