- *THIS POSTING HAS BEEN MODIFIED. PLEASE ENSURE QUOTES ARE SUBMITTED ON THE NEW SECTION B FROM THE AMENDMENT W912DQ-13-T-1012-0002 (INCLUDED AS AN ATTACHMENT). THERE SHOULD BE THREE CONTRACT LINE ITEM NUMBERS (CLINS) IN SECTION B. The purpose of this amendment is to update the Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) schedule to include CLIN 0003 in Section B, incorporate additional specifications relating to asbestos removal, and revise the equipment schedules for the electrical services connections. Finally, the due date for the receipt of quotes has been extended. All vendors are required to submit their quotes using the newest CLIN structure. DESCRIPTION OF THE AMENDMENT: CLIN 0003 is added to cover the removal of asbestos in the pipe chase between the maintenance shop and the administrative office. The specifications for the asbestos removal are included with the Specifications in Attachment 1. The specifications also include contact information on local contractors that are familiar with this type of work. There is a change on the equipment schedules for the electrical service connections as well. The condensing unit heat pump (CU-1-PO) electric connection is modified from (240V/1PH) to (240V/3PH) (Attachment 2 in Section J). The reason for this change is that the original equipment manufacturer drawing did not reflect installation of the separate electrical service (240V/3PH) to the existing condensing unit. If your quote needs to be revised due to this requirement, you are allowed to adjust your pricing. Also, if this change requires a submission of new equipment documentation, you should include that as well with your quote. If you are not submitting any new equipment documentation, then our office would need a definitive statement that the proposed equipment will meet this requirement.
