Description
This is a Request for Quote for the acquisition of a Video Wall Management System for the Customs and Border Patrol, per the specifications as shown below, the attached diagram and in accordance with the attached Terms and Conditions. The FAA is performing the contracting work for this acquisition. NOTE: This is a Small Business set-aside, with the NAICS code for this requirement is 334112 with a standard size of 1000 employees. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to this RFQ. Therefore any cost associated with the submission is solely at the interested vendor ™s expense. Please respond by reviewing the specifications as listed below and submit a quote based upon the required system specs and delivery time frame. RFQ Submission Please furnish a quote for the supplies as described below; please note the importance of the delivery timeframe for this acquisition. Pricing should be per unit (fully burdened including all materials, labor, etc.). Pricing should be quoted as being FOB Destination shipped to Oklahoma City, OK 73169. The prospective system needs to meet the following criteria: a. A video wall system including the controller and any necessary peripherals b. Inputs = 16 Standard Definition BNC, 8 HDMI, 12 DVI, and 1, DVI-I HD c. Outputs = 14 DVI, 8 HDMI, and RJ45 VMS Controller Computer d. All of the Cat5 cable and coax cable necessary e. Open architecture video capture and playback system (something like DLNA may satisfy this requirement) f. Capability for future expansion, (System use of 50% capability, remaining 50% for future expanded use) g. Vendor must be able to install software and configure the system h. Vendor must provide onsite support for training of system (potentially two sessions) i. 2-Year Service Warranty The following is not to be included in the bid, however, the system must be compatible with: a. 14 55" Orion Brand video displays (not included in bid “ CBP provides) b. 6 32" video displays (not included in bid “ CBP provides) c. 2 high definition video projectors (not included in bid “ CBP provides) d. 2 high definition video screens (not included in bid “ CBP provides) e. Compatible with a VTC system (Polycom brand - not included in bid “ CBP provides) Delivery Timeframe It is preferred that the Video Wall System is delivered by August 30, 2013. If you cannot meet this delivery timeframe, please state your expected delivery timeframe. Evaluation and Award It is anticipated that a Fixed Price Purchase Order award will result from this announcement. Evaluation will be determined by delivery timeframe and pricing. Award will be made to the lowest aggregate total price, based upon quotes received. A higher consideration may be placed on vendors that are able to meet the delivery timeframe as shown above. Delivery may be considered more important than price for evaluations, and therefore, the FAA reserves the right to award to a higher offeror based upon delivery timeframes. NOTE TO VENDOR: Please submit a quote (you may use your company ™s letterhead), in accordance with the attached Terms and Conditions for this requirement, including a filled-out copy of the attached Business Declaration (unless provided with response to Market Survey). Terms and conditions which differ, in part or in total, from those contained in this document will not be considered nor accepted by the Government. The terms and conditions herein may only be changed as a result of price negotiations, quantity / payment discounts offered by the Vendor, or changes to delivery terms / schedule for the supplies / services required as agreed to by both parties. In these instances, the Contracting Officer shall clearly document any agreements in the contract for the benefit of both parties prior to contract award. Responses should be submitted in a Microsoft Word document (preferred); however, portable document format (i.e..pdf file) is acceptable. The FAA will not respond to telephonic inquiries.
