- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is issued as a request for quote (reference number W912LN-13-T-0018). It is the contractor's responsibility to become familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This solicitation is 100% Small Business set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 323113 with a size standard of 500. The RFQ will close on 16 September 2013 at 0800 AM. Questions must be submitted in writing by 1200 PM EST 26 August 2013. The requirement is for the following: 1. Anajet mPower MP10i t-shirt machine (1 EA), quote mark or Equal quote mark. Salient characteristics are listed below. If offering other than name brand specified, a copy of all technical information on product offering on must be submitted with quote to be eligible for award. You must also indicate item as quote mark or Equal quote mark and provide the applicable manufacturer and product number. Quotes received without technical specs of quote mark or Equal quote mark items will be considered non responsive and quote will NOT be considered for award. Must have the ability to print a white/light shirt in high production mode in about 16 seconds and production mode in about 25 seconds. Allow very fine control of ink drop size ranging from 7 to 35 picoliters. Must have heavy duty stainless steel heads which can endure repeated cleanings and high pressure purging up to eight PSI. Curing times no more than 40 seconds for light shirts and 90 seconds for dark. Required to have RIP software included with the printer that offers both online/email and live telephone support and all certified technicians. Must offer lifetime technical support and unlimited training. Ink channels 12/192 resolution settings 300, 600, and 1200 dpi water based pigmented CMYK & white inks graphics applications Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel DRAW.
