- Specifications Plans FY13 Unit 10 Transformer Replacement The contractor shall remove and replace a 3,250 KVA medium voltage dry type outdoor transformer (this is a step up transformer that gets its primary feed from a hydropower generator at 4160V and delivers power to the a main powerhouse at 13.8KV) at the Soo Locks Complex in Sault Ste Marie, MI. The project will also include related incidental work such as removal of a transformer enclosure, installation of an equipment pad and containment system, protective devices, cabling, supports, and other items as shown on the project plans and contained within the project specifications. Payment items for the work of this contract on which the contract unit price payments will be made are listed in the BIDDING SCHEDULE and described below. The unit price and payment made for each item listed shall constitute full compensation for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment, and performing any associated Contractor quality control, environmental protection, meeting safety requirements, tests and reports, and for performing all work required for each of the unit price items.
