Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 9 (NCO 9) intends to award a sole source contract award to KCCP Trust d/b/a Time Warner, 6550 Winchester Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64133. The Period of Performance for Contract Award will be one (1) twelve (12) month period beginning 10/01/2013 and ending 09/30/2014. This requirement is for Cable TV and High-Speed Internet Service for VAMC Lexington, KY (Cooper Drive and Leestown Divisions). Cooper Drive Division requires 168 Cable drops and 50m x 5m Internet and is located at 1101 Veterans Drive, Lexington, KY 40502. Leestown Division requires 105 Cable drops and 50m x 5m Internet and is located at 2250 Leestown Road, Lexington, KY 40511. Time Warner is the sole cable service provider for the Lexington, KY area. Time Warner is the only available source for this service. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by August 23rd, 2013, 12:00 p.m. (ET). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to dustin.epperson@va.gov. Telephone requests or inquires will not be accepted.
