- The Army Contracting Command- Fort Dix intends to solicit & award an acquisition for Refuse services at the Armed Forces Reserve Center (AFRC), Newark, Deleware. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to provide the requested services. The place of performance for this effort is 1001 OGLETOWN ROAD Newark, DE 19711-5413. The period of performance is from 30 September 2013 - 29 September 2014. Additionally, 4 - one option years are included in this acquisition. The resultant contract is anticipated to be a Firm-Fixed Price type contract. This acquisition is issued as unrestricted under the primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) of 562111 and the related small business size standard of $3 million. This synopsis is provided for informational purposes and is not to be considered a request for quote/proposal. Solicitation Number W15QKN-13-T-5254 is assigned for reference purposes. The entire solicitation will be made available on or about 14 August 2012 via the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition to Business Website located at https://acquisition.army.mil. The required response date will be stated in the solicitation. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-66. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates, or changes to the solicitation. Please be advised that hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available; you must download solicitation documents from the ASFI. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number, a CAGE code, and register in the System for Award Management (SAM) located at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ in order to transact business with the government. Failure to obtain a DUNS number, a CAGE code and register in the SAM may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror.
