- Proposals must be submitted and/or postmarked no later than 4:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, September 30, 2013. Proposals may be mailed to the Ottawa National Forest Supervisor’s Office, to the attention of Jim Sobrack at the Forest Supervisors address listed below. Proposals may also be hand delivered to the Forest Supervisor’s Office during office business hours (8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday). Applicants must submit four (4) copies of their application package and supporting documents. Please see the prospectus for additional important information. The Ottawa National Forest located in the western upper peninsula of Michigan is pleased to announce the availability of our campground and recreational facilities concessionaire prospectus. The areas being offered include sixteen campgrounds and associated facilities, and the Black River Harbor facilities in four separate bid items. This prospectus is being issued to solicit applications for a concession special use permit authorizing use of National Forest System lands and the operation and maintenance of Government-owned recreation facilities.
