Description

SCOPE OF WORK Upgrades to Building 7, 60 Bed CLC PROJECT NO. 561A4-09-201 Statement of Work: A.Contractor shall furnish labor, materials, and perform work to upgrade the center area of the second floor in building #7 at the Lyons NJ VA Medical Center. B.General construction and alteration work includes but not limited to: general construction, alterations, mechanical, sprinkler, fire alarm and electrical work, necessary removal of existing construction and certain other items as indicated on drawings and specifications. BID ALTERNATES: Item I, Base Bid General construction and alteration: work includes but not limited to general construction, alterations, mechanical, sprinkler, fire alarm and electrical work, necessary removal of existing construction and certain other items as indicated on drawings and specifications..ALTERNATE NO.1: Base bid with a deduct of the work involved in removal of the existing flooring, installation of the new flooring and the new wall covering in the corridor and elevator lobby ALTERNATE NO. 2: Base bid with a deduct of alternate No. 1 plus the work involved in the dayroom area except the kitchen area as indicated on bid deduct area plan, labeled as deduct area No. 2. Work required to be performed in this area are architectural, electrical, sprinkler, hvac etc. Work required in other areas shall remain part of the bid. ALTERNATE NO. 3: Base bid with a deduct of alternate No. 2 plus the deletion of the kitchen cabinets, countertops, and appliances. The utility work for the kitchen shall remain part of the base bid..ALTERNATE NO. 4: Base bid with a deduct of alternate No. 3 plus the work involved in the conference / classroom as indicated on bid deduct area plan, labeled as deduct area #4. Work required to be performed in this area, are architectural, electrical, sprinkler, HVAC, etc. Work required in other areas shall remain part of the bid.
