- This synopsis is not a request for quotes or proposals. This is a pre-solicitation notice that a solicitation for a competitive acquisition for the award of one firm-fixed price contract is scheduled to be released via FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) in the near future detailing requirements for the purchase, installation, commissioning of a telephone system and decommissioning of the existing phone system at the Dworshak National Fish Hatchery. The Technical Specifications will be detailed in a solicitation that is scheduled to be released in the near future. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Set-aside status: The solicitation is scheduled to be issued 100% Small Business. Place of Contract Performance: Dworshak National Fish Hatchery, 276 Dworshak Complex Drive, Orofino, Idaho 83544 Conducting Business with the Government: In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must provide registration information to the System for Award Management (SAM). All Offerors must be SAM registered prior to receiving an award. Registration instructions may be obtained, and online registration may be accomplished, at www.sam.gov. By submission of a quote, a vendor acknowledges the requirement to be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from the solicitation. If you are not SAM registered, you will need to complete and provide paragraphs (B) through (I) of provision 52.213-3 in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued to FBO.gov on/or about August 19, 2013. Quotes will be due approximately 10 days from the date the solicitation is issued, however, the 10 day time frame is an estimate and subject to change. The definitive quote due date and time will be stated in the solicitation and any associated amendments that may be issues. No CD's or hard copies will be available. Offerors are responsible for checking the referenced page for any update(s) to the Notice. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for an offeror's inability to access the document posted at the referenced website.
