- This is a pre-solicitation notice for synopsis of 'Chemical Toilets Indefinite delivery Indefinite Quantity' contract for Davis-Monthan AFB (DMAFB), Arizona. This is a commercial purchase; therefore, FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, shall apply to this acquisition. Services to include servicing and moving chemical toilets. The contractor shall perform these duties in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and all other required regulatory guidance. This acquisition will be solicited as a Request for Quote (RFQ) utilizing FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. A Firm Fixed Price contract will result from this solicitation. Award selection will be based on price only. This acquisition has been Set-Aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 562991; and, the small business size standard is $7.0M. The RFQ Number is FA4877-14-Q-0001 and shall be issued on or about 16 August 2013, posted electronically on the Federal Business Opportunity website (http://www.fbo.gov). Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package. Firms are requested to obtain the solicitation package on the aforementioned website as quickly as possible, as the solicitation will be issued without further notice upon SBA acceptance of the requirement for the section 8(a) program. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR website (http://www.ccr.gov) or by contacting CCR Customer Service Contact Information at 1-888-227-2423. Please Note - The subsequent award of this requirement shall not be held up by the government waiting for a firm to be properly registered. All responsible business concerns may submit a proposal to the 355th Contracting Squadron.
