Description

Sources sought to provide Human Resources Supervisor Training at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center in Clarksburg, West Virginia. Human Resources Supervisor Training is under NAICS code 611430 with a size standard of $10. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract for Human Resources Supervisor training to supervisors of the Louis. A. Johnson VA Medical Center. Contractor shall provide VA Supervisory Training in HR Essentials for Title 5 (GS, WG, Hybrid) and Title 38 Supervisors. Estimated twenty five (25) Clarksburg VAMC staff shall be trained and provided associated training materials. Training sessions will be held as mutually agreed to by both parties, for a total of 2.5 days. Training will be held between 8AM and 4:30PM during the week. Topics to be covered include: Measuring and Critiquing Job Performance, Performance Based Interviews, Absenteeism, Reasonable Accommodation, Light Duty Management, Medical Disqualification, Addressing Bad Attitudes, Correcting Misconduct, Management Rights with Labor Organizations, Off Duty Misconduct, Intoxication in the Workplace, Appropriate Use of Last Chance Agreements, and Handling Threatening Behavior. Capable businesses are encouraged to respond via email with company name, contact name, telephone number and DUNS number. Companies should also include their size standard under NAICS code 611430 and their socioeconomic category, if applicable. Businesses who feel they may be capable of fulfilling this requirement shall submit this information in writing by 3pm local time August 23, 2013. Sources sought only. This is not a request for formal quotes. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The information received will be considered market research solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct for a competitive procurement and if the procurement can be set aside for socioeconomic categories.
