- J and A has been removed. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). Application for sole source procurements, Only one Responsible Source and no other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirement, contained in Citations 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The 94TH Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron (AES) Simulation Center, has a requirement to upgrade our current Simulation Management System (Learning Space Pro) to Learning Space Enterprise. This procurement will include the following line items: • One (1) LearningSpace Enterprise Server; • One (1) LS Enterprise SDCD Server; • Six (6) LS Ente1prise SDCD Licenses; • Four (4) Digital Audio Kits; • Four(4) Axis 212 PTZ IP Cameras, • Four (4) Axis 214 PTZ IP Cameras, • Four (4) Axis PoE Injectors; • Installation and Integration for upgraded System at Dobbins ARB. T he NAICS Code number 339113 (Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing), size standard 500 employees and PSC number 6515 (Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment and Supplies). The 94TH CONF/LGC intends to make an award to CAE-METI, 6300 Edgelake Dr., Sarasota, FL 34240-8817. All responsible sources may identify their interest and submit their information for consideration. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. Information received is considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. DISCLAIMER: This notice does not constitute an invitation for bids or a Request for Proposal (RFP) and is not a commitment by the U.S. Government to procure subject products. No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this notification. The Government will use the information received to determine whether other sources are available and capable to satisfy this requirement. 5352.201-9101 Ombudsman (Aug 2005) (a) An ombudsman has been appointed to hear and facilitate the resolution of concerns from offerors, potential offerors, and others for this acquisition. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The existence of the ombudsman does not affect the authority of the program manager, contracting officer, or source selection official. Further, the ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals, the source selection process, or the adjudication of protests or formal contract disputes. The ombudsman may refer the party to another official who can resolve the concern. (b) Before consulting with an ombudsman, interested parties must first address their concerns, issues, disagreements, and/or recommendations to the contracting officer for resolution. Consulting an ombudsman does not alter or postpone the time lines for any other processes (e.g., agency level bid protests, GAO bid protests, requests for debriefings, employee-employer actions, contests of OMBC A-76 competition performance decisions).
