- This solicitation is being amended to be procured under the authority of FAR 6.302-2, Unusual and Compelling Urgency. This requirement has changed due to an impending emergency surgery, therefore a solicitation will not be posted. This is a Presolicitation Notice Only. No contract shall be awarded from this Presolicitation Notice. The anticipated requirement is for a Shoulder Positioning System (see below list), for Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center at Fort Hood, Texas 76544. This requirement will be 100% Set-Aside for Small Business using NAICS code 325410, and number of employees less than 500. The delivery date will be on or before 2 Oct 2013. This acquisition will be procured under the authority of FAR 12 & 13. The government is anticipating a Firm Fixed Price contract. All interested parties can view, download, and print a copy of the solicitation and any resulting amendments on or about 21 Aug 2013. The solicitation will close on 4 Sep 2013. All contractors wishing to do business with the Department of Defense must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
