Description

This project will repair and correct the fire and smoke damper deficiencies in Building 500 of the Lake Baldwin Campus. Fire and smoke dampers that are not functioning correctly shall be replaced. Fire and smoke dampers that are missing shall be installed and any access doors that are not installed shall also be installed properly. The dampers are located throughout Building 500. The Magnitude of construction for this project is between $100,000 and $500,000 The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238220 and the size standard is $14.0 million. THIS ACQUISITION WILL BE AWARDED UNDER THE VETERANS FIRST CONTRACTING PROGRAM AS A TOTAL 100% SET-ASIDE TO ELIGABLE SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) FIRMS. NOTICE THIS IS A SERVICE-DISABLED, VETERAN-OWNED, SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. PROSPECTIVE CONTRACTORS ARE CAUTIONED THAT ANY BID OR PROPOSAL SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS SOLICITATION MUST MEET THE CRITERIA IDENTIFIED BY 38 CFR, PART 74. ANY PERSON, PERSONS, OR BUSINESS ENTITY SUSPECTED OF MISREPRESENTING ITSELF FOR THE PURPOSE OF SECURING A GOVERNMENT CONTRACT MAY BE CRIMINALY INVESTIGATED AND PROSECUTED FOR FRAUD AGAINST UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
