- VA Notice of Proposed Contract Action - FBO.gov SPECIAL NOTICE VA247-13-I-1380 - Maintenance for Siemens Medical Systems Equipment DESCRIPTION Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 07, CNVA Medical Center, Engineering Department, in Augusta, GA plans to make award to Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. located at 3780 Mansell Road, Alpharetta, GA 30022. Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. has been identified as the only responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements per FAR 6.302-1. Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. is a large business. This contract needs to be in place by October 1, 2013. Anticipated purchase The contractor (Siemens Medical Systems) is to provide a Full Service Maintenance contract to maintain the following Siemens Medical Systems equipment in proper operating condition in accordance with manufacturers specifications and the Statement of Work (SOW): SOMATOM DEFINITION FLASH CT EE 60874 Model: 1043060 SN: 73127 Syngo Multimodality WP EE60887 MAGNETOM VERIO 3T MRI EE 64176 SN: 40744 MR Syngo MM Workplace EE 64185 MR Syngo MM Workplace EE 64189 MR Chiller Model KCC/KSC 215 EE 64184 MR Chiller Model KPC 212/215 MR Chiller Model KCC/KSC 215 Medrad Stellant D EE 64188 MR Chiller Model KCC/KSC 215 Siemens Somatom Sensation 16 CT Scanner EE 43269, SN: 50760 Medrad Stellant D Medrad Spectris Solaris MAGNETOM AVANTO MRI - EE 43341, SN: 25381 MR Syngo MM Workplace MR Syngo MM Workplace Siemens Axiom Sensis Electro Physiology System EE 42316, SN: 02299 Siemens Axiom Sensis Electro Physiolgy System EE 51608, SN: 3642 Siemens Axiom Sensis Electro Physiology System BIOGRAPH mCT 40 EE 62189 and LEONARDO WS, SN: 1024 AXIOM Luminos TF EE 62314. SN: 2309 The period of coverage is October 1, 2013 through September 30, 2014. For each emergency service visit, initiated at the request of the CO, the contractor (Siemens Medical Systems) shall furnish all labor, material, repair parts, (except those cited within Excluded Parts) equipment (not to include operating supplies), software updates, and travel necessary to correct any equipment to operational condition. The contractor shall guarantee that at the conclusion of any emergency maintenance performed that the equipment will meet manufacturer's factory specifications. Contractor shall maintain the equipment in accordance with the Conformance Standards and provisions outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW).
