- The National Science Foundation (NSF) intends to procure, on a sole source basis, the NSF Transit Subsidy Program (Smart Benefits) for its employees from the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). The anticipated period of performance is October 1, 2013 through September 30, 2014. The acquisition will be made in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. This synopsis is for information purposes only.
