Description

U.S. Department of Energy, Southwestern Power Administration (Southwestern), intends to negotiate with and award a purchase order under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1), on a sole source basis to Waukesha Electric Systems/SPX Transformer Solutions for an onsite Electrical Print Reading training course, specific to the high voltage electrical industry utilizing Southwestern?s unique electrical print drawings to teach Southwestern?s maintenance technicians how to read an interpret Southwestern?s customized prints. Applicable NAICS code is 611519, small business size standard is $14.0 million. This notice is not a request for quotes or proposals. Interested firms must identify their interest and provide documentation demonstrating their capability to accommodate this requirement by e-mailing LaMeisha Cheridor, Contract Specialist, at lameisha.cheridor@swpa.gov no later than 12:00 PM Central Time, August 22, 2013. Any information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement at Southwestern?s sole discretion. This notice in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. Southwestern is not responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this Notice.
