- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Fort Jackson, South Carolina intends to solicit offers for Packing, Containerization, and Local Drayage for Direct Procurement Method (DPM) Personal Property Shipment Services in support of the Directorate of Logistics (DOL) Fort Jackson, South Carolina. The Contractor shall be responsible for the preparation of personal property for Department of Defense (DoD) personnel for the shipment and/or storage and related services as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Government intends to issue Request for Proposal (RFP) W91247-13-R-0016 resulting in the award of a single-award Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) Requirements contract for this requirement. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 48891 and the small business size standard is $25.5 Million. The requirement will be solicited as a women owned small business set-aside in accordance with the policies and procedures outlined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, Subpart 19.15--Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Program, and other applicable regulations and FAR supplements. The final RFP will be available to interested industry participants on or around 30 July 2013. The RFP will be accessible through the Army Single Face Industry (ASFI) website, https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/; or the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website, https://www.fbo.gov. The resultant contract will include a basic ordering period of 12 months, and four (4) one-year optional ordering periods. The RFP and any subsequent documents related to this requirement will be available for download at the ASFI and FBO websites referenced above. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring these sites for the release of the solicitation package and any subsequent amendments. All offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database, be self-certified as a WOSB concern in SAM; and must submit all documents verifying eligibility at the time of initial offer to the WOSB Program Repository. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed and telephone requests will not be honored. The Contracting Officer for this requirement is Mr. Keith D. Friot. The Contract Specialist for this requirement is Ms. Mandy M. Ashmore.
