- This is a requirement for the remanufacture of the F-15 Butterfly Valve. The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish the overhaul, test, packing, preservation and packaging of the F-15 Butterfly Valve. A firm fixed priced, Minimum/Maximum, Indefinite Quantity contract for five years is contemplated. The solicitation number will be FA8118-13-R-0048. The item and quantities are as follows: Item 0001: Overhaul NSN 4820-00-123-3031RK, P/N: 225815-3, Noun; Butterfly Valve; Applicable to F-15 aircraft; Minimum Quantity: 2 each, Maximum Quantity: 9 each Item 0002: Over and Above Work. Item 0003: Data IAW DD 1423. Deliveries are to be 1 each per month every 30 days. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 4 September 2013. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS APPLY. Award will be based on meeting our requirements and cannot be delayed pending qualifications of additional sources. APPROVED SOURCES are: Gulf Aerospace, Texas Aerospace, and Airtronics Inc. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. PR Number is FD2030-13-00797. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
