- The Texas National Guard has a requirement to purchase Kenwood TK-6110 (K) radios that are custom tuned to these specifications: 1. Must be VHF Low Band covering at least 30-37 MHz. Most of our freqs are centered around 34.550 MHz 2. Must be programmable in 25 KHz channel steps 3. Must have at least 32 programmable channels 4. Must be tuned for a non-standard 150.0 Hz PL Tone Transmit and Receive 5. Must be specially tuned for 8 khz wideband FM deviation on transmit 6. Must be specially tuned for 8 Khz wideband on receive 7. Must have 50-70watts transmit power
