- Description
- Description(s): The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, WMEC Product Line, has a requirement for the inspection, overhauling, testing, packaging, marking, bar coding, and delivery of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Allied Systems, single point davits boat booms: 1) NSN 2030 01-476-6301 Single Point Davits Boat Boom PN: D5700CT Qty: 2 each Description: Vendor will be responsible for the disassembly, cleaning, inspection of and potential overhaul and repair of the davits. Once repairs are complete, testing will be conducted in accordance with specifications. A Quality Assurance representative from the U.S. Coast Guard will execute the final inspection and acceptance of the davits upon completion of the repairs. These supplies and support services are required for the Allied Systems davits currently installed on the WMEC 210' and 378'. The Coast Guard does not possess the proprietary technical specifications, drawings, manufacturing/provisioning data, or special tools necessary to provide these services and supplies. This information was not purchased at the time of the original acquisition and is proprietary to the OEM, Allied Systems. It is the Government's belief that only Allied Systems has the capability to provide these services and supplies. It is the Government's belief that Allied Systems does not currently have any authorized distributors, dealers, or repair facilities. However, potential sources can submit information demonstrating their capabilities to provide genuine OEM davits and parts and OEM authorized Technical Representative Services. This information shall include, but is not limited to: (1) Data that the offered services and supplies have been satisfactorily provided to the OEM or the Government in the past; and/or (2) a written letter, signed by the OEM, that verifies the offeror's capability to access OEM drawings, specifications, and special tools. The Government does not intend to pay for any information that is submitted in response to this synopsis. The above information must be received no later than four (4) calendar days from the date this notice is published. Information received after this period may not be considered.
