- This Request for Quote (RFQ) is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS code is 238320 (Painting and Wall Covering Contractors) with a Small Business Size Standard of $14.0 Million. Project Description: Paint the three-leaf vertical-lift garage door at the Oahe Project powerhouse which includes; preparation and primer of approximately 15 sq ft of rust spots, partial disassembly of the overhead door seals, protection of rubber and areas identified as not to be painted, and the application of approximately 1,415 sq ft of urethane alkyd enamel paint as per the attached drawings and specifications. Location: The work shall be located at the Oahe Project powerhouse which is located 6 mile north of Pierre, SD as indicated on the attached location maps. The site address is US Army Corps of Engineers, Oahe Project, 28563 Power House Rd., Pierre, SD 57501. The exact location will be shown by the Contracting Officer. Please refer to the attachments for important information, points of contact, drawings, and photographs. ***Special Requirements:*** SSPC (Society for Protective Coatings-formerly Steel Structures Painting Council) Certification is required. Contractors must submit proof of SSPC Certification along with their RFQ. An RFQ will be considered incomplete and not considered for award if SSPC Certification is not provided at the time of RFQ submission. All contractors are required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) before award as required by FAR 4.11.
