- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Requisition Number W81EWF22655004 is being issued as a request for quotes (RFQ) with intent to award as a simplified acquisition. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-65. This requirement is conducted unrestricted with full and open competition, open to both large and small businesses. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) 3909 Halls Ferry Road, Vicksburg, MS 39180-6199 has a need for a service and maintenance contract in order to maintain a Beckman Coulter Gallios Flow Cytometer. The service contract needs to meet the following requirements: Must have factory-trained and certified service engineers, proprietary tools, engineered upgrades, facilities, diagnostic equipment, parts, materials, and supplies to provide the required technical support and expertise for on-site full service maintenance and preventive maintenance for the Gallios flow cytometer, 6 colors/2 lasers Provide unlimited emergency service at no additional charges for on-site labor, travel time, or travel expenses during normal business hours Provide remote diagnostic service Provide preventive maintenance service calls on a routine basis over the contract period Schedule on-site service calls as priority status Provide routine maintenance and engineered modification updates The service contract company must provide a technical support hot line at no additional cost Provide new or rebuilt parts that meet original equipment manufacturing specifications The service contract company will need to start the delivery of service within 30 days of receipt of award. Service period will be one year from date of commencement of service. Price must include any shipping, FOB Destination. FAR Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall submit technical data on the items quoted. FAR Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose quote is determined to be Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. FAR Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
