Description

In accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(1), this is a notice of award to a sole-source contract and is not a request for proposals. The 11th Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Andrews, MD, has made a sole source award to Siemens Enterprise Communications for the purchase of the following: Radio Interface and Speakers. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334290 and the size standard is 750 Employees. The proposed contract is for products which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." THIS NOTICE OF AWARD IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and a solicitation will not be issued; however, in accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(15)(i), this acquisition will be procured IAW FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency needs, all proposal submitted, in response to the notice, shall NOT be considered by the agency.
