- GENERAL INFORMATION: Document Type: Solicitation Notice Solicitation Number: W912NW-13-T-0928 Set Aside: 100% Small Business NAICS Code: 238220, Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning Contractors Contracting Office Address: Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) Contracting Office Army Contracting Command 10221 Ave E, Bldg 1770 Corpus Christi, TX 78419-5211 DESCRIPTION: The CCAD Contracting Office is soliciting on an a 100% Small business set aside basis for a complete turnkey procurement for the furnish and installation of two (2) air handler units located at Bldg 8, Corpus Christi Army Depot, Corpus Christi, Texas. 78419. Offers will be solicited only from business concerns current in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database. BASIS FOR AWARD: AWARD WILL BE BASED ON LOWEST PRICE, TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: 1.Price 2.Ability to furnish exact product as specified by statement of work ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: All offers are due no later than 09 September 2013 (Central Daylight Saving Time) at 10:00am. Solicitation document shall be signed and all applicable Certifications and Representations shall be completed. 1.Complete blocks 12, 17a, and 30a, b, and c of the SF 1449. In doing so, the offeror accedes to the contract terms and conditions as written in the SOLICITATION, with attachments. The SOLICITATION constitutes the model contract. 2.Insert proposed extended prices quote mark amount quote mark on page 3 of the SF 1449 quote mark for CLINs 0001, and 0002. 3. Complete blocks 15A, 15B, and 15C of the Amendment SF30 when/if issued. In doing so, the offeror accedes to the contract terms and conditions as written in the SOLICITATION, with attachments. 4. The solicitation is available in electronic format only. No hard copies will be provided. It is the contractor's responsibility to check the website, www.fbo.gov for any and all amendments to this solicitation. 5. All payments are to be paid via the Internet through the Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) system. WAWF may be accessed at https://wawf.eb.mil. WAWF training may be accessed online at http://www.wawftraining.com. Payment information may be accessed using the DFAS website at https:www.dfas.mil. Your purchase order/contract number or invoice will be required to inquire status of your payment. 6. Be advised that all interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database in order to receive payment for products/services rendered to the Government as the result of an award. If you are not registered you may request an application at (334) 206-7828 or through the SAM website at https://sam.gov. 7. All questions to this solicitation must be received by the Contracting office's identified Points of Contact before 4pm (Central Daylight Saving Time) 03 September 2013. Stamos, Contract Specialist at deno.a.stamos.civ@mail.mil SITE VISIT INFORMATION: 1.One MANDATORY site visit will be held to ensure all potential offerors have uniform information in order to make an accurate proposal. 2.Site visit will be conducted on 29 August 2013 at 9:00 a.m. central daylight saving time at the Corpus Christi Army Depot, Contracting office, building 129. All potential offerors MUST attend the site visit to perform an inspection of the size and current layout. 3. Offerors are expected to satisfy themselves as to the general and local conditions that may affect the cost of the performance of the work to the extent that such information is reasonably obtainable. It is considered impractical to determine, without inspection, the exact nature of the work and site conditions under which the work is to be performed. 4.A maximum of two representatives from each company are allowed. To attend please submit an email to deno.a.stamos.civ@mail.mil. Include attendee's names, company name, address, phone number, fax number and Driver's License number. Deadline for emails is Wednesday, 28 August 2013, 3:00pm CST. It is the responsibility of the contractor to confirm the email is received. After submission of email should a person not be available to attend, send a cancellation email to the same POC. 5.Interested parties are advised to arrive by 8:30 a.m. in order to receive security passes and clearance. 6.Place: Naval Air Station, Corpus Christi Army Depot, Contracting Office, Bldg. 129 (interested parties should arrive at least one and a half hours prior to site visit time to receive security passes) 7.The contractor must have their own ear plugs, safety glasses and safety shoes to have access to the work site. 8.NO CAMERAS ALLOWED FOR SITE VISIT. 9.QUESTIONS: Questions shall be answered at the conclusion of the site visit. Any additional questions shall be submitted in writing via email to deno.a.stamos.civ@mail.mil by 03 September 2013. Inquiries shall contain the solicitation number (W912NW-13-T-0928) and must be addressed to the attention of Deno A Stamos, Contract Specialist.
