Description

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Parking Management, Inc. (PMI), 1725 DeSales Street, NW, Suite 200, Washington, D.C. 20036, under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1. The NRC requires PMI to provide 150 garage parking spaces to accommodate parking for NRC employees working at 21 Church Street, Rockville, Maryland 20852. PMI is the only provider of parking spaces for this building. This requirement includes a one-year base period, plus one one-year option period. This notice of intent is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit written capability statements which shall be considered by the agency. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Interested sources must submit detailed technical capabilities and any other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the requirements above, no later than Thursday, September 5, 2013. Telephonic responses and capability statements that do not provide sufficient information for evaluation by the NRC will not be considered.
