- Statement of Work This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subparts 12.6 and FAR Subparts 13.302, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals/quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. This constitutes the only notification before award. The solicitation reference number F4A3203197AC02 is issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-69. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333318. Small business size standard is 1000 employees. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business. CLIN 0001: Qty 1 Lot- SEM Model 15 Disintegrator or equal IAW Statement of Work (SOW) -Disintegrator with 20 Hp Motor, 460V Power, Integrated Low Angle Knives -Steel Sound Enclosure -2 Hp waste evacuation air system with internal lining and air filtration -In-feed cooling fans -20 Gallon waste collection drum -Preventative Maintenance IAW SOW -Spare Set of Low Angle Knives (3 Rotor/2 Stationary) designed for specific model -Installation *Item must be brand name or equal.* *Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. The Government anticipates award on a best value basis. IAW FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, the Government intends to award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the proposal will be the most advantageous to the Government based on technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement and price. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: 1. Technical Acceptability ** 2. Price This will be a lowest price technically acceptable purchase. Technical acceptability will be determined based on characteristics stated in this solicitation. Technical factors will be considered only when an item other than SEM brand is offered.
