- The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Kennedy Space Center (KSC) is seeking capability statements from all interested parties for the purpose of determining the availability of renting the use of Catia and Delmia software from an offerors software licenses. The version of CATIA/DELMIA software should be V5R21; CATIA must be an AL2 All-In-One configuration including the following workbenches: Sketcher CATIA - Part Design CATIA - Assembly Design CATIA - Interactive Drafting CATIA - Generative Drafting CATIA - 2D Layout for 3D Design CATIA - Structure Design CATIA - Wireframe & Surface CATIA - Freestyle Shaper, Optimizer and Profiler CATIA - Freestyle Sketch Tracer CATIA - Generative Shape Design CATIA - Shape Sculptor CATIA - Imagine & Shape CATIA - Digitized Shape Editor CATIA - Quick Surface Reconstruction CATIA - Electrical Harness Installation CATIA - Electrical Harness Assembly CATIA - Electrical Part Design CATIA - Piping Design CATIA - HVAC Design CATIA - Piping Design CATIA - Tubing Design CATIA - Plant Layout CATIA - Advanced Meshing Tools CATIA - DMU Optimizer CATIA - Human Builder CATIA - Human Measurements Editor CATIA - Human Posture Analysis CATIA - Human Activity Analysis CATIA - Material Library CATIA - Catalog Editor CATIA - PhotoStudio CATIA - Realtime Rendering CATIA - DMU Navigator CATIA - DMU Kinematics Simulator CATIA - DMU Space Analysis DELMIA should have the AP2 base configuration including the following workbenches: DELMIA-Device Building 2 Delmia-Workcell Sequencing Delmia-Electrical Harness Simulation DELMIA-Human Basic Activities 2 DELMIA-DPM Process Planner 2 DELMIA-MultiCAx-CATIA Plug-in DELMIA-D5 Integration 2 DELMIA-MultiCAx-CATIA Plug-in DELMIA-Resource Layout 2 DELMIA-Process and Resource Planning Two CATIA licenses & 1 DELMIA licenses are required; all licenses should be able to be hosted on a KSC on-site server and have the ability to be checked out for up to 10 days. Interested offerors having the required capabilities to meet the above requirement should submit a capability statement of 2 pages or less indicating the ability to perform all aspects of the effort described herein. Responses must include the following: name and address of firm and size of business. This requirement is considered a commercial item. A commercial item is defined in FAR 2.101. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized in FedBizIpps and on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service. It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor these sites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. All responses shall be submitted to Louis Patalano at louis.f.patalano@nasa.gov no later than September 25, 2013.
