AMENDMENT #2 NOTICE: Question: Will all replacement parts and supplies be included in the contract or will the National Park Service pay for these directly as the need arises? Answer: Contractor is responsible for all costs associated with furnishing replacement parts and supplies related to the maintenance services covered by the contract. AMENDMENT NOTICE: (A) Questions & Answers: (1) Is there a previous contract for this equipment? Yes, it ended 10/31/2012. Award number: INP12PD10125. Award Amount: $22,733.00. Vendor: Cartridge Plus, Inc. (2) Who is the vendor currently servicing the equipment? No one is currently servicing. (3) What was the cost of the last year's contract and is this the same equipment as last year's contract? See above. The unit inventory is different. (4) Is the contract available for viewing? You view the contract information on FPDS-NG (https://www.fpds.gov). (5) Is there a service history available? No. (6) Is all the equipment up and running? Yes. (B) CHANGES: (1) Statement of Work (page 2 of attachment) - the following is added to the Scope of Requirement: NPS reserves the right to reduce or increase the total amount of units within five percent (5%) of the total listed above, to include changes in make and/or model, upon execution of future options without a change in price. (2) Instructions for Quotes Submittal (page 29 of the attachment) - the dates are corrected to match the Solicitation: All quotes shall arrive by the closing date for the receipt of proposals 8/29/2013 by 5:00 pm Eastern Time, Daylight Savings Time. All questions or requests for clarification must be submitted by 8/21/2013 to allow enough time for an amendment to be issued. Questions must be submitted in writing by mail or email by the date specified to antonia_giammo@nps.gov. Mailing address is listed below. ORIGINAL COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION INFORMATION: Responses due via www.fedconnect.net by 5:00 PM EST, Thursday, August 29, 2013. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is a 100% Small Business set-aside. NAICS is 811212 and the size standard is $25.5 million dollars. The National Park Service (NPS) requires annual maintenance of approximately eighty (80) printer/fax units located at two locations: Herndon, VA (20171) and Washington D.C. (20240). Annual maintenance includes both as-needed repairs and two (2) annual preventative maintenance visits. Please see attached Statement of Work (SOW) and attached list of units to be serviced for exact requirements. NPS will award this contract with one base period (12 months) with four option periods (12 months each). Offerors are required to offer the Government at least the same warranty terms including offers of extended warranties offered to the general public in customary commercial practice. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements. Award will be made to a technically acceptable offer that is most advantageous to the Government based on price and past performance (see attachment).
