Description
Install Rooftop AC units Statement of Work for Rooftop AC Units 22 Aug 13 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR part 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation, which incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-69. This acquisition is set-aside for Small Businesses in accordance with FAR part 19.5. The associated NAICS code for this acquisition is 336390 with a size standard of 750 Employees. The subject Solicitation number is: FA4621-T-13-0011 The following is a description of the line items as detailed in the attached solicitation: CLIN 0001: Provide and Install Rooftop mounted AC Units: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, materials and other items necessary to modify GSA Multi-stop Bread Vans (Ford, E-350) in accordance with the Statement of Work, dated 20 Aug 13. The contractor shall acquire the parts needed to modify these vehicles with fully functional air-conditioning/heating units and any electrical system upgrades needed for operation. A/C system must provide adequate climate control for 587.25 cubic ft. CLIN 0002: Provide and Install heavy duty alternator: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, materials and other items necessary to modify GSA Multi-stop Bread Vans (Ford E-350) in accordance with the Statement of Work, dated 20 Aug 13. The contractor shall acquire the parts needed to modify these vehicles to install heavy duty alternators. Alternators must contain the following characteristics: Severe duty, commercial 360 amp @5000 rpm, 200 amp @1100 rpm, w/computerized high idle kit, Ford E-series chasis, gasoline. The following provisions and clauses in their latest editions apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items FAR 52.212-3 Alt I, Offerors Representations and Certifications, Commercial Items (offeror shall complete these on-line at www.SAM.gov), before award FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions, Commercial Items FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders In accordance with FAR 52.232-18, Availability of Funds, funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer Additional FAR provisions and Clauses are included in the attached solicitation. Award will be made to the responsive offeror determined to be the most advantageous to the government in accordance with the criteria listed on the attached solicitation. Awardee will be required to invoice through wide area work flow (WAWF). Award can only be made to contractors registered in System for Award Management (http://www.SAM.gov). Please fill out the attached Solicitation and send with your offer. Offerors shall respond to this solicitation by 1600 Central Standard Time 30 August 2013.
