Description

The VA Medical Center, Des Moines, Iowa intends to sole source the purchase of ASCOM d62 hand-held phones & base station upgrades through preexisting FSS contract GS-35F-0662T to ASCOM (US) INC, authority of FAR 6.302-1. A justification for other than full and open competition (Limited Sources) has been prepared in support of this acquisition. This FBO posting announcement is being placed to satisfy requirements in FAR 5.201. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Inquiries will be accepted in writing by e-mail (enrique.perez2@va.gov) if received by 10:00 am CST August 26nd 2013.
