Description

Site Prep for Kiosks. Contractor shall furnish all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to install electrical and data outlets on various floors of Building 1 at the Omaha VA Medical Center located at 4101 Woolworth Avenue, Omaha, Nebraska in preparation of Kiosks that will later be installed by others. Work includes, but is not limited to, general construction, alterations, electrical, necessary demolition and certain other items necessary for the completion of this project. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications and drawings of the solicitation (when available) and all applicable local and VA codes. Solicitation Number VA263-13-Q-3395 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about August 26, 2013. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to bid the project. An Organized Site Visit will not be held. (See solicitation when available for point of contact information to arrange a site visit, if desired). Quotations are tentatively scheduled to be due on Thursday, September 12, 2013 (see solicitation when available for specific time/date). The Period of Performance is expected to be 60 calendar days from the receipt of award. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00.
