- Description: This announcement provides public notification that the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Network Systems (VISN) 16, Network Contracting Office, Southeast Louisiana Veterans Healthcare System (SLVHCS), New Orleans, LA intents to enter into a firm fixed price, sole source contract with A-DEC, located at 2601 Crestview Drive, Newburg, OR 97132 for dental chairs and delivery systems. To the best of our knowledge, A-DEC is the only contractor that provides support and maintenance for this specific product. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services with satisfy the agency requirements. The resulting contract award will be firm fixed price and the NAICS Code is 423450. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm ·believes it can meet the requirements as stated herein, they must provide written/electronic notification to the Contracting Officer within three (3) days from the date of this publication/announcement, accompanied by supporting evidence in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability of the firm to comply with the above requirement. Responses received will be evaluated by the Contracting Officer. However, information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide the so stated product to the VA, within a deliverable time. If no responses are received within the stated time frame, the VA will proceed with the intended sole source contract award with A-Dec, Newburg, OR.
