- SOLICITATION This solicitation is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/. FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet. Please feel free to use the FBO site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. Contractors must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and in the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in order to receive the solicitation attachments. Offerors may obtain information on CCR registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220 or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov. Information about the JCP is located at http://www.dlis.dla.mil. The solicitation attachments will be posted to FedBizOpps at the same time the solicitation is posted. FedBizOpps may be accessed at http://www.fbo.gov. SOLE SOURCE: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only Authorized Distributors of Sensitron Semiconductor under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(c). This is being sole sourced because Sensitron Semiconductor has conducted and passed all certification testing associated with this requirement. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The requirement is as follows: 100 each P/N 80952702 REV C (similar to Sensitron P/N: SEN-3279-001) High Voltage Diode Blocks to be built in accordance with the Statement of Work, Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) A001 and A002, and Drawing Number 80952702 Rev C. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR 13. Synopsis exception FAR 5.202(a)(13) applies and Solicitation Number N00164-13-T-0199; is hereby issued as an attachment hereto. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor FedBizOpps for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
