Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The South Carolina National Guard will be awarding a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a Statement of Work (SOW) is provided. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13. The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation document are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-55 Effective on January 1, 2013. Provisions and clauses incorporated by reference have the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. The full text of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations supplement (DFARS) can be accessed on the internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. The solicitation W912QG-13-T-0023 is issued as a Request for Quote. This procurement is 100% small business set aside. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 621340. The small business size standard for this NAICS code is $7 million. The South Carolina Army National Guard needs a quote for required audiology examinations for retention and mobilizing soldiers. This contract will have a base year period of performance of 8 months with four option years. Each option year will have a period of performance of 12 months. It is at the discretion of the SCARNG to exercise option years. The contractor will be notified in writing prior to exercising any options. The contract will be awarded to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror. The place of performance will be at McEntire Joint National Guard Base, Eastover, SC.
