- Project No. ZNRE 14-4336, Repair Playground 6509, East Neighborhood Military Family Housing (MFH), Yokota Air Base, Japan. The following scope of work is expressed in general terms and in no way limits the Contractor's responsibility. Perform all work indicated in specifications or accompanying drawings, which will be included in the solicitation package. The contractor is required to provide a complete and usable facility within the terms and conditions of this contract. The scope of work for this project includes but is not limited to: Furnish all parts, labor, tools and equipment, transportation, supervision and all operations identified in these contract documents for project number ZNRE14-4336 Repair Playground 6509, East Neighborhood MFH to replace equipment and safety surfacing at the playground facility No. 6509 located between Bldg. 4304 and 4305. New play equipment shall be equivalent to or shall have more play components than existing. All play equipment shall be certified by International Playground Equipment Manufacturers Association (IPEMA). Play equipment and its layout shall be age appropriate, shall have appropriate use zones, and shall conform to ASTM F 1487-11 and Public Playground Safety Handbook. Government approval shall be obtained for submittals such as shop drawings, catalog cuts, color sample, and IPEMA certification before starting on-site work The magnitude of this project is expected between Y20,600,875 and Y41,201,750, in accordance with FAR 36.204 (d), which means the Government's Cost Estimate falls in this magnitude. Selection will be based upon evaluation factors which will be stipulated on the solicitation. For more details will be posted when determined. If you need to attend the site visit, please make an appointment with the POC and come to the Gate 5 (Supply Gate) by 09:00 hours to obtain the pass. You must bring the proper identification (valid passport or driver's license with 8-digits password). For the vehicle pass, please make sure you bring the proper original insurance documents. Failure to provide the proper documentation may cause you not be able to enter the base.
