- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the Federal Business Opportunities website to ensure that they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. The solicitation number AG-7442-S-13-0072 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and is being conducted as a 100% small business set aside. The North American Classification System Code is 423830; the size standard is 500 employees. This RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-69. This requirement will be awarded on an all or none basis as a commercial item, fixed price purchase order under the procedures at FAR Parts 12 and 13. Description: The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service has a Brand Name or Equal requirement for a Z-Boat 1800 High Speed or Equal. If providing an equal, provide the manufacturer and part number of the items so that an evaluation of the part can be made. The quantity of all items will be a quantity of one (1) each. Contract Line Item, Item Description: 001 Boat shall be equipped with all telemetry equipment necessary to send and receive all data while the boat is in operation. 002 Boat shall be equipped for and capable of performing an ADCP (Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler) survey. 003 Boat shall be equipped for and capable of performing a dual 33/200 KHz or 28/200 KHz echo sounder survey. 004 The ADCP and dual echo sounder shall be interchangeable depending on site. 005 Surveys capability shall be survey grade hydrographic data and must be capable of interfacing with an external GPS/GNSS Trimble R8 receiver. 006 Boat shall be equipped with a broadband radio to transmit two channel digital echograms. 007 Boat shall have a dual 24 volt DC drive with remote capability. 008 System shall come complete with ruggedized laptop data collector and HYPACK software. 009 System shall have a spare battery pack for both the boat and remote control. 010 System shall include all associated cabling and controllers to be fully functional. 011 Must include training in quote. 012 Must include shipping cost in quote.
