- WV Communications, Inc. delivered a Command Destruct Transmitter (CDT) System to PMRF that was purchased under contract N63394-12-C-5006. This procurement will provide the range with initial spare parts to ensure quick repair in case of system failure. The Government intends to award a sole-source; firm fixed priced contract to WV Communications, Inc. This procurement is commercial item IAW FAR Part 12. No solicitation will be issued but responsible sources may submit inquiries or request for information to marcella.webber@navy.mil or by phone at 951-273-4454. THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO SOLICIT AND NEGOTIATE WITH ONLY ONE SOURCE UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.302-1 FOR THIS PROCURMENT ACTION. INTERESTED PARTIES MAY IDENTIFY THEIR INTEREST AND CAPABILITY TO RESPOND TO THE REQUIREMENT, OR SUBMIT CAPABILITY STATEMENTS. THIS NOTICE OF INTEREST IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES OR PROPOSALS. •1.0 INTRODUCTION The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Corona Division, Range Systems Engineering Department, Code 31 requires the purchase of initial spare parts for the CDT system at PMRF. •2.0 BACKGROUND In late FY 12 WV Communications, Inc delivered a Command Destruct Transmitter (CDT) System to PMRF that was purchased under contract N63394-12-C-5006.
