- This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. <p> NASA/KSC has a requirement for Vacuum Jacketed (VJ) Flexible Hoses. <p> This combined Synopsis/Solicitation is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the following Commercial item/services: various sized vacuum jacketed flexible hoses. See attachments. <p> This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 332999 and 500, respectively. Quotations in response to NNK13478799Q are due September 9, 2013. NASA Clause 1852.215-84 (NOV 2011), Ombudsman, is applicable. The Center Ombudsman for this acquisition can be found at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/pub/pub_library/Omb.html. <p> The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. The Internet site, or URL, for the NASA Business Opportunities page is http://procurement.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/EPS/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=. <p> Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
