The Forward Operating Location Base Operations Support (FOL-BOS) services contract provides all management, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services as necessary to perform tailored BOS at Hato International Air Port (IAP), Curacao and Reina Beatrix IAP, Aruba. This is a sources sought synopsis seeking names of potential offerors to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other supplies and services as necessary to meet FOL-BOS requirements. The anticipated contract start date is 1 Oct 2014. The performance period is projected to include a two-month phase-in period and a one-year base period with five one-year option periods. The NAICS code for this effort is anticipated to be 561210, Facilities Support Services. A determination regarding the set aside status for this effort has not been made. This is not a formal Request for Proposal (RFP), and no contract will result from this synopsis, nor does it commit the Government to any acquisition for these services. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only, and the Government will not pay for any information received. Any subsequent solicitation will be synopsized prior to its release. Contractors will be solely responsible for monitoring the Internet for details on Requests for Information, Industry Day, downloading the draft solicitation and final solicitation, and any subsequent amendments through the Electronic Posting System (http://www.fbo.gov). No paper copies will be issued. It is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the aforementioned site regularly for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract. It does not restrict the Government's ultimate approach, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. All inquiries regarding this acquisition should be directed to ACC AMIC/PKB, at ACCAMIC.FOLBOS-02@langley.af.mil. The acquisition will be initiated with an Industry Day conference between Government and industry representatives, scheduled for 23 - 25 July 2013 in Newport News, VA. Additional information regarding the conference, location, and agenda will be posted to FBO along with a memorandum for all potential offerors with regards to Market Research. The draft Performance Work Statement will be posted on or about 08 Jul 2013. The draft RFP, and other pertinent information will be posted to FedBizOpps at a later date.
