Description
Questions and Answers #1 1. "The proposed solution shall support no less than 25 users." Question: We offer both concurrent and named user licenses. If concurrent can be used, can you tell us how many of either or both you would like quoted? Answer: Potentially, 50 Concurrent users. 2. "Shall include a minimum of 100,000 pre-manufactured barcodes with the option of purchasing additional barcodes in the future." Question: If the software allows you to print the barcode label, do you still want to preorder? Answer: Due to the volume of items to be inventoried, we would want them pre-manufactured initially. Over time we would probably create our own. Question: If you do want to preorder please provide the specifications for the label e.g. size, type (paper, synthetic...)" Answer: Barcode labels should be standard in nature for size, sufficient for barcode information (Approximately 2.25IN X 1.25IN). Barcode Label type should be polyester or equivalent to ensure long term use and/or permanency. 3. "Support integration with Oracle Database thru ODBC or other industry standard interfaces." Question: Does the software have to run on Oracle or is SQL also available? Answer: Both are available, however, Oracle is where all information on the film exists, therefore a means to communicate between the two is required. Question: If only Oracle, which version? Answer: Oracle, Version 11g 4. "The proposed solution shall include a minimum of 8 barcode scanners." Comment: Portable readers can support both barcode and RFID. Fixed/tethered readers are generally do not support both barcode and RFID, they are independent of one another. Question: Will there be any fixed/tethered readers? Answer: No.
