- Attachment 2- Redacted Sole Source J&A Attachment 1- Items Breakdown Copy of Combined Synopsis ****A copy of the Combined Synopsis as a word document will be attached**** DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) and the solicitation number is F4ATA73233A002. The 772 ESS/PKH Contracting Squadron, Tyndall AFB, Florida, requires the following: F71 AM-2 Kits. This also serves as a notice of intent to award sole source (see Attachment 2- Redacted Sole Source J&A). DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: The solicitation document, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-69 effective 1 Aug 2013, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation DPN 20130808 effective 8 Aug 2013, and Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation AFAC 2013-0327 effective 27 March 2013. This acquisition will be procured on a sole-source basis under authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 under the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS), 336413, Other Aircraft and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing. The business size standard 1000 employees. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded. The contract will be awarded with a single Contract Line Item Number (CLIN). See below for the breakdown. Please note the delivery requirements are FOB Destination. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
